Choice is The Buzz Word for Domino’s NEW Diamond Ring Mount Collection

Domino has announced the launch of its latest Diamond Ring Mount (DRM) collection. This highly popular, fully British-made range, which is at the heart of the company’s offering, has been revised and reinvigorated to add creative twists to traditional styles and to offer stockists even greater choice and more opportunities for personalisation.

The collection offers some 95 designs across round, princess and fancy-shaped solitaire rings as well as multi-stone, cluster and lifestyle options.

New for the 2017 Collection is the option of buying British-made, semi-set mounts. Over recent months the company has invested heavily in up-skilling its workforce, teaching the intricate micro-setting techniques to its diamond-setting team that many of these designs require.

Because of this investment the company has been able to move this element of its production back to the UK.

The semi-set collection includes everything from small diamond details on solitaires and diamond-set shoulders through to a range of popular halo-designs.

The move, as Andrew Sollitt, Domino’s Sales and Marketing Director explains has introduced several benefits: “Not only has this reduced the lead-time of our semi-set designs from 25 days to just 15, but I am truly delighted to say that we are now able to offer our stockists a reduction of around 15-25% in price on our previous semi-set mount offering,” he commented.

Another advantage of the move to full in-house production is that the offering is made using Domino’s platinum which is typically, significantly harder than its Far Eastern equivalent.

Furthermore, the range is available using Domino’s 18ct white alloy which has a high palladium content and therefore is whiter in colour.

The whole DRM range, in line with the current trend for personalisation, choice is the watchword and all rings are available in platinum as well as 18ct white, yellow and rose gold.

Many designs offer two part-mounts for the currently fashionable bi-metal, two-colour option and all are available in a range of different stone sizes to incorporate a range of important price points.

Depending on the style, pieces are available unset or semi-set, ready to receive your central stones, or as a fully finished ring with the retailer’s choice of GVS or HSi diamonds.

Domino also offers a setting service for retailers wishing to supply their own stones.

The new DRM Collection is now available to view with Domino’s sales representatives, and will be on show at IJL this September (Stand D60).
