Cemetery care in Warstone Lane cemetery & Key Hill cemetery, Birmingham JQ
This event is a chance to give back to the community by helping maintain and clean up two historic cemeteries in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

Come join us for a day of volunteering and community service as we work together to preserve these important landmarks. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to pitch in!

Time: 1pm-2pm
Meeting point here is at the Vyse Street gate to Warstone Lane Cemetery at 1 pm, to get kitted out with hi vis, gloves and tools to clean headstones, clear pathways, and showing respect to those who have passed.
Come and Rake In Peace with us and spend your Friday lunchbreak giving Warstone Lane cemetery and Key Hill cemetery some tender loving care, composting fallen leaves, clearing paths, trimming low branches and ivy, planting seeds and bulbs; whatever the season, there is always something to do in both cemeteries. Pop along for an hour to help and enjoy some time in nature.
You will be assisting in maintaining these two historic cemeteries in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Join us at Vyse Street entrance gate hand in preserving these important landmarks. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just looking to give back to the community, all are welcome to participate in this rewarding experience. Come ready to get your hands dirty and make a difference in the upkeep of these special places. Let’s work together to honor the past and create a brighter future for these sacred sites.
