School of Jewellery’s Summer Courses Brochure for 2014

344hf 09aThere are over 20 exciting courses suitable for beginners or professionals to choose from this year. Highlights include the renowned jeweller Philip Sajet leading an exploration of ‘Desire and Greed’, Daniela Boieri with a Masterclass on the ‘Marriage of Metals’, Richard Witek on ‘Fine Techniques’ and Stephen Goldsmith with a ‘Polishing Masterclass’.

There is also a Gemmology Basics course that leads to a qualification from the Gemmological Association alongside our ever popular ‘Introduction to Stone Setting’. Katherine Campbell-Legg’s friendly ‘Silver Jewellery Making for Beginners’ would be ideal for those of you wishing to extend your knowledge on from silver clay or beading.

Dawn Meaden-Johnson who has run the Short Courses so well over the past 10 years has decided to concentrate upon her own jewellery business and Diana McCann has taken over for this summer. Diana completed an Extended Diploma at the School of Jewellery last June. and is presently an Artist in Residence at the School, and hopes to be able to answer your queries and help you to find a course that will suit you.
