The BJGF’s Benevolent Ball

The British Jewellery & Giftware Federation recently held its Annual Benevolent Ball at The Botanical Gardens in Edgbaston to raise Funds for those who are experiencing hard times and used to work in the Jewellery and other Industries that The Federation represents.

This prestigious Event is attended by several hundred each year and is an ideal opportunity for all those in the Trade to entertain Staff, Customers, Suppliers and Friends. The evening begins with a Champagne Reception – sponsored by the NEC this year. A fabulous Dinner was followed by a superb Auction conducted by Stephen Whittaker of Fellows, and the Staff of The Federation mingled amongst the Party-goers selling Raffle and Tombola Tickets. Guests then danced the night away to a sensational Live Band followed by a Disco.

Other major Sponsors of the Event also included Cooksons, Charles Green, T H March, EMAP, Weston Beamor, Rudells, HS Walsh, Sutton Tools, CBG, and Optima amongst others.

A fabulous night was clearly had as shown by this picture showing David Doyle, the current Deputy President of The British Jewellery and Giftware Federation, with the girls from The Assay Office!

Planning is already underway for next Year’s Event which will be held locally in Birmingham and if you would like to know more please email Gill Price at The Federation on:
