Award for Wolverhampton artist

President of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Steve Evans from Wolverhampton is also an honorary member of the RBA. “That means I can show two works in their annual exhibition,” he reveals.
The RBA Exhibition 2022 was held at the Mall Galleries for two weeks. “One of the works I showed was Shaft, which was selected for the Winsor & Newton Painting Award. This was pleasing, as it was unexpected.” The award is for art materials to the value of £500.

The Hockley Flyer magazine is entirely funded by the advertising, but could do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Subscribers pay only a bit more than the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
