BAJ Luminosity Exhibition

The British Academy of Jewellery is pleased to announce its next exhibition, Luminosity, which will display a broad spectrum of exciting creative talent from the BAJ community, running from 7th September.

Our talented team at BAJ may have been working from home over the past few months, but that does not mean that they have stopped creating. In these uncertain times, the act of artistic creation has served not only as a welcome distraction, but also as a way of connecting with others by sharing a creative vision.

Many members of the BAJ community have used this time to reflect, explore new creative avenues and reconnect with their artistic passions.

With this in mind, the BAJ asked their team members to share their creations from recent months. With submissions including everything from jewellery to drawings, photographs and even poetry, the broad range of exhibits on display will aim to inspire, challenge, and provoke discussion about the importance of making as a positive creative outlet.

Kate Rieppel, Head of Academy at the BAJ, commented: “We are proud to see the talented members of the BAJ team come together as a community to celebrate the power of creativity during challenging times; to share their creative inspirations with one another and express their unique reflections from this period.”

Students coming to BAJ in September can discover the Luminosity exhibition first-hand at the Academy’s campuses in London and Birmingham from Monday 7th September. External visitors are invited to discover the exhibition online from 14th September.
