Drop in Launch at Portofino

Michael Allchin, Assay Master, Assay Office, Anna Gibson, Jewellery Quarter Creative Marketing

Portofino the Jewellery Quarter’s newest restaurant to open played host to the business ‘drop in’ Launch of the new Jewellery Quarter Essential Guide.

Guests included Jewellery Quarter key stakeholders, strategic partners and retail businesses that supported this much needed Guide.

Visitors to the Quarter also welcomed the Guide whilst enjoying the ambience of Portofino Italian Restaurant in Frederick Street which specialises in freshly cooked pasta, pizzas and mouth watering fish and meat dishes.

A great addition to the culinary offer that the Jewellery Quarter provides businesses and visitors.

The new Guide was distributed in time for the Olympics and can be obtained via Information Centres, Central library, Museums, Art Galleries and special requests including Press and PR packs.

The Hockley Flyer magazine if entirely funded by the advertising, but we could always do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Our subscribers pay only a bit more then the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
