Editorial June 2022

The Jewellery Quarter Festival is back in 2022 – make a note of the date – Saturday 23rd July, 11am – 8pm. Full details have yet to be announced, but there will be a crafts market in the Golden Square, live music around the JQ with the main Music festival in St. Paul’s Square. Live theatre in Warstone Lane Cemetery, and the much-missed tours, live maker demos and other things we have missed without the festival.

The events season is now in full swing, with many of the courses and workshops back to near pre-pandemic levels, whilst the live music scene is everywhere it seems in the JQ anyway. The Tours, Talks and Walks are taking a little longer to get back to normal, although the museums that are open say they are getting fully booked some days and will be looking to open extra days shortly.

If you wish to know what’s happening in the Jewellery Quarter see our events pages in this issue, or better still, see our sister web site at https://jqevents.info where you can find full info and click links to book tickets.
