Event Details

Adam De Ville’s north Wales barn paintings are from his regular visits to Gwynedd. His work presents a painting style, influenced by the post impressionists, called Moveism which focuses on painting how the subject emotionally moves him.

The floral paintings also represent a live dialogue between Adam and the subject, capturing in the freestyle brushstrokes and knife work, an emotional journey and ultimately a movement towards a mutual point of departure. This body of work asks the viewer to embrace a sense of liveliness, a living moment.

Adam is originally from Burntwood, West Midlands. He exhibits nationally and internationally, and has won awards at the Royal institute of Painters in Watercolours, Wales Contemporary, Royal Cambrian Society of Artists, and Royal Society of Birmingham Artists.
