Leaded Panel Stained-Glass Workshop

Leaded Panel Stained-Glass Workshop with Vix Brown.
This workshop will allow participants to create a stained-glass panel to take home using traditional leading techniques. The finished panel will be approximately 34cm x 12cm.
THIS WORKSHOP IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WHO IS PREGNANT, TRYING TO GET PREGNANT, OR BREASTFEEDING.
Age group and abilities to be taught

18 years and above
Suitable for all levels, including beginners

Course aims and skills/knowledge to be taught

Participants will be guided through creating their own stained-glass heart panel, cutting glass, assembling with lead, cementing

Course outline
Morning activity

Select a design (from the selection provided by the tutor)
Choose glass (from the selection provided)
Cut and refine
Build panel

Afternoon activity

Solder
Add hanging wire
Cement
Pick, clean, polish

What you need to bring with you:

An apron or overall
Students MUST wear solid soled, closed toed shoes
Messy clothes are advised

What we will provide:

Gloves and a mask will be provided however participants may being their own
All specialist materials
