Approximately forty firefighters were called to a ‘factory fire’ in Birmingham’s world famous Jewellery Quarter in the early hours of Tuesday (26 March 2024) morning.
Residents alerted West Midlands Fire Service as five callers rang 999 to report the incident.
Six fire appliances were scrambled at 4.56am along with a hydraulic platform and a high volume pump.
On arrival the crews found 40 percent of the building on fire and a cordon was set up around Tenby Street North.
