HS Walsh were established in 1947 in Beckenham, Kent initially supplying clock and watch tools and materials to the trade before adding tools and equipment for the jewellery trade to their catalogue of products.
Now based at Biggin Hill, with branches in both Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and Hatton Garden, HS Walsh was first granted a Royal Warrant from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2016 which was renewed in 2021. With the ascendance of His Majesty King Charles III H S Walsh sought to obtain his appointment in the same capacity as suppliers of Horological Tools & Equipment.
Whilst the warrant is granted for services to the Royal Household, it was by no means freely given and all warrant holders were also assessed on their commitment to sustainability, the environment, and support for heritage skills and community. In undertaking the application, H s Walsh confirmed an ongoing commitment to these areas and responsibility to the future of the horology and jewellery industries.
CEO Patrick Sheehan said, “We were honoured to serve her Majesty and immensely proud that His Majesty King Charles has bestowed his own Warrant to us.
We have a wealth of knowledge in the industry, our team have a total of over 420 years of service, and we are privileged to be able to use this all this experience to continue to supply and be of service to the Royal Household.”
“Having served the royal household of his gracious mother Queen Elizabeth II we are absolutely ecstatic to be awarded a new Royal Warrant from his Majesty the King.”
