Inhorgenta Award 2020: Public Choice Award – Best Watch Gala evening at BMW Welt

The Inhorgenta Award is firmly established as a prestigious award in the jewellery and timepiece industry. The focus of the exclusive evening gala on February 16, 2020 will be on innovative design concepts and high-quality craftsmanship. The award ceremony is a season highlight, not only for the industry, but also for the prominent guests and a host of media representatives. The award is held as part of Inhorgenta Munich. From February 14 to 17, the Munich exhibition grounds are the international meeting place for jewellery, timepiece, and gemstone experts.

A rising number of submissions and the positive response have shaped the development of the award since it premiered in 2017. “The Inhorgenta Award is regarded as true recognition, and the award ceremony is the highlight of the trade fair’s supporting program,” says Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München.

In addition to the established public voting category “Public Choice – Best Piece of Jewellery,” the “Public Choice Award – Best Watch” will be presented for the first time. The public will choose the winner via online voting on the basis of a description and photos. The other categories: Fine Jewellery, Fashion Jewellery, Watch Design, Designer of the Year and Design Newcomer of the Year, Next Generation Retail.

A jury of experts and opinion leaders assess the submitted items of jewellery and timepieces

The award ceremony will be held in the elegant setting of the BMW Welt. 450 guests, celebrities and a host of media representatives are expected at the event. Inhorgenta Brand Ambassador André Hamann eagerly awaits the evening: “I’m delighted to be on the Inhorgenta Award jury for the first time. Since I’m a jewellery designer myself, I very much appreciate ideas and concepts being honoured in such a high-class setting.”
