The forthcoming Spring Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair in Battersea Park, which opens on Tuesday April 21 to Sunday April 26, 2015, has a somewhat interesting jewellery connection.
For example specialist jewellery dealer Sandy Stanley focuses on mid-C20th jewels by iconic designer makers such as Andrew Grima, John Donald, Alan Gard, Charles de Temple, as well as striking post-war Scandinavian silver designs by Georg Jensen and others.
Another dealer, Trivette specialises in exceptional antique and pre-loved gem-set jewels from a range of periods, together with a fine selection of vintage watches.
Gorgeous costume jewellery is also to be found in abundance. Among the notable dealers in this area is Monika Antiques who sources early C20th examples by well-known, leading design houses, while Katheleys (from Belgium) has fabulous costume and couture jewellery from across Europe, including stylish fashion accessories from the mid to late C20th, including designer hand-bags and belts by desirable names.
And to ensure there is something for everybody a number of the textile dealers bring a diverse and attractive range of exotic tribal jewellery to the Fair.
