Krypton Factor-y!

Back in 1990 a Bag Man named Jamie Blackburn realised he was spending so much money with a newly formed business called Krypton Jewellers, he decided to buy into it! Hence a three-way partnership and friendship was formed that is as strong today as it was thirteen years ago!

Roy Woolley, Peter Hughes and Jamie now employ thirty staff, having built up the business from a one room first floor workshop above a cafe in Caroline Street employing a staff of four in the early days, to now owing Krypton House – a beautiful building with a turret feature and with a wealth of history.

The company manufactures individual items to mass produced multiple lines and also do sub-contract setting and casting for major firms in the Quarter.

A purpose-built workshop has recently been built on a first floor level, freeing the ground floor space. This has now enabled Krpton Limited to expand its wholesale trade counter quite considerably. Stocking virtually everything needed to stock out a retail outlet, it is certainly worth a visit where you will find a warm and friendly welcome and very competitive prices.
