The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has announced the participants for the closing panel discussion on Sunday, 23rd June. Five industry experts will discuss ‘storms on the horizon’ and how they will impact the jewellery industry.
Now in its fourth year, the NAJ Summit, taking place from 22nd June to 24th June at the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham, features an extended weekend of valuable learning and networking opportunities.
A special panel discussion will close this year’s Valuers’ Conference, sponsored by John Pye Auctions. Chaired by Dr Richard Taylor FIRV, the panel will bring together five experts across sectors to discuss the trade’s current and future issues.
The panel includes…
- Dr. Gaetano Cavalieri, CIBJO President
- Ben Massey, NAJ Chief Executive
- Alan Cohen, London Diamond Bourse Past President
- Cynthia Cartwright, Wongs Commercial Director
- Philip Newman, Metals Focus Managing Director
The panel will discuss the latest threats facing the trade, including G7 diamond sanctions and rising bullion prices, all putting a strain on the supply chains throughout the trade.
The panel discussion is open to all Valuers’ Conference attendees and early arrivers to the Retail Jewellers’ Congress taking place on Monday, 24th June.
NAJ CEO Ben Massey shared, “It is important the NAJ prepares its members for future challenges and risks. We look forward to bringing together diverse viewpoints on the hot-button topics currently facing the industry and how best to navigate these challenges.”
