British Jewellery & Giftware Exports, the export division of the BJGF Federation, is to expand its range of member services and change its name from May 2010. The new name and services will be launched during the UK Summer gift and jewellery tradeshow season.
The new services are designed to help new and existing importers in the gift, home and jewellery trade, and will be based around import, purchasing and supply chain activities. To reflect this change, the department will become known as ‘British Jewellery & Giftware International’ (BJGI).
BJGI Manager Mike Josypenko explained: “These new services and benefits reflect the changing dynamics within our industry, and will align our services to the demands of today’s gift, jewellery, home and travel goods industry. They will run alongside and complement our existing range of export-related benefits and services, and provide an irresistible offer for companies of all sizes.”
The new services will be launched at Pulse in June and the Home and Gift exhibition in Harrogate in July. As part of the launch, BJGI team members will offer one-to-one import advice sessions during both shows to exhibitors and visitors.
