News has just come through that Constance Ethel Jones has passed away at the age of 96 in January 2023 from natural causes.
‘Connie’ owned several businesses in the Jewellery Quarter including a property company and a Silversmiths mainly making sugar bowls etc. Sadly, Connie had few friends as she was a difficult person to get along with, and in business was ferocious and made more enemies than friends. But saying that there was a truly kind person hiding under that ultra tough exterior, and I was one who witnessed it first hand, but knowing Connie she would not want people to see that side, remaining difficult and tough right up until she passed in January.
