Trollbeads UK Responds to Passing of Fable Trading founder Sarah Morfoot
Katharine ‘Sarah’ Morfoot, the founder and former distributor of Fable Trading, has passed away after a four-year battle with cancer. Sarah was in treatment for a brain tumour since falling ill in 2012, and recently lost her fight with the illness.
Together with her husband Richard Morfoot, Sarah led Fable Trading, the original distributor of Trollbeads in the UK and Irish markets.
Trollbeads UK Ltd has released a group statement in memory of Sarah and her love for the brand:
“Sarah was a vibrant and inspiring woman, and the Trollbeads UK team are truly grateful to have had the chance to work alongside her. The news of her passing is extremely sad; no one knew Trollbeads quite like Sarah, and her work and belief in the brand was exceptional. We send our thoughts and best wishes to Richard and the Morfoot family at this sad time.”
Members of the trade wishing to show their support or share their memories of Sarah can donate to The Brain Tumour Charity or support Sarah and Richard’s daughter Amy Morfoot on a London to Paris charity bike ride in honour of her mother.
