Thinking About Improving your Skills?

Laura Fleming

2015 marks the 125th anniversary of the founding of the School of Jewellery and so they have devised an exciting programme with courses led by some of the best practitioners in the jewellery trade such as Kevin Grey, Tom Rucker, Stephen Goldsmith and L J Millington.

One of the School of Jewellery’s short summer courses could be an inspired starting point. An affordable and stimulating range of courses take part in June and July.

The summer programme course offering is designed and developed to appeal to professional makers who require new skills or creative motivation for their business.

Courses are taught by the very best practitioners from industry and academia in the School’s purpose built well-equipped studio workshops.

Based in the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, the School of Jewellery is the perfect place to obtain expert training, make useful contacts and enjoy learning new skills.

The Hockley Flyer magazine if entirely funded by the advertising, but we could always do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Our subscribers pay only a bit more then the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
