When Brian Jones sadly died just a few days before the official launch of his wonderful book ‘People, Pens & Production’ his family, friends and colleagues decided to go ahead with the event as it would have been – what he would have wanted.
The event was well-attended and included a visit by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham. The other planned events will still go ahead:
- Talk by Prof. Carl Chinn in the new library (date to be arranged).
- 21 June – Presentation at University of Birmingham. Arts Building – History Day 10 am – 5pm.
