In the middle of August, and *hopefully* the height of summer, you may be surprised to find us hosting a red wine tasting. But this one is all about those red wines that you can pop in the fridge next to your whites…
We get asked a lot about chillable reds; What makes a red wine “chillable”? Our “chilled red aficionado” Nathan will be answering all of your questions and showcasing his favourite reds to keep in the fridge.

Event Details
Compass Box is a contemporary Scotch whisky blending house that was founded in the year 2000 and have always set out to make delicious, compelling whiskies that draw you back to the glass for another sip. We are Whiskymakers. ‘Whiskymaker’ is a word we invented – you won’t find it in any dictionary. To us, a Whiskymaker is someone who feels compelled to make things better – to ask questions, to challenge, to experiment. A Whiskymaker is different from a distiller, and more than a blender.
When it comes to whisky and the joy it brings, we keep our minds open to new possibilities. We are excited by new production processes, new combinations of flavours, new ways of sharing and enjoying great whisky. There is so much there to discover.
As the UK Brand Ambassador for Compass Box since 2022, Michael Stephenson is spreading his love & passion for outstanding blended whisky using insight and experience gained over the last 24 years in the industry.Time spent in corporate spirits companies, operations teams, traveling the seas on a mega-yacht & running his own award-winning bars means he has experience on every side of the bar and has many stories to share.Whisky was the spirit that gained his affection over a 15 years ago and he has hosted numerous tastings for novices, aficionados & everyone in-between ever since.
Don’t miss out!

Calling all Cheese and Wine aficionados! You’ll already know that we think there are few better combinations in the world than Cheese and Wine.
The world of cheese and wine is vast, and however much you may already know about either, or both, there’s always so much more to learn.
For these tastings, the Arch 13 team have paired some incredible British cheeses with some stonkingly good wines to showcase just how well these two go hand in hand.
During the tasting you’ll get to experience 5 different pairings, and you’ll be guided through by one of our expert in-house team members. Be ready to dazzle everyone with your knowledge at your next dinner party!
