Hockley Mint Scoops Prestigious UK Jewellery Award

Birmingham Jewellery Quarter firm Hockley Mint won big at the recent UK Jewellery Award, scooping the highly competitive Employer of the Year award.

With more than 700 guests attending the glamorous evening at the Tower of London, the annual awards toasted the UK jewellery industry’s leading businesses and individuals. Hockley Mint was shortlisted in four categories – Employer of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Ethical Jewellery Business of the Year and Bridal Collection of the Year.

The company of more than 100 staff beat strong competition to take home the Employer of the Year Award, which is one of the most coveted prizes on the night.

Established in 1953, Hockley Mint has become the personal workshop of jewellery retailers and businesses the length and breadth of the UK, and is highly regarded for its personal and honest service.

The Birmingham jewellery manufacturer specialises in engagement ring mounts, wedding bands, precision precious metal casting, findings and components and bespoke jewellery design specifically for the jewellery industry. It is also the originator of the popular WedFit engagement ring mounts.
