Jewellery Quarter Wedding Fair 2024

A truly magical event organised by the Jewellery Quarter BID (JQBID) to showcase what a perfect place the Jewellery Quarter is for wedding planning and shopping, supporting all our independent local businesses.

Coming to the Jewellery Quarter this Spring on Saturday 23rd March, with a marquee on Golden Square (B18 6NF) filled with local vendors and special offers for jewellery shops all around the Quarter, with a special wedding guid and, discount voucher flyer available at the event. Visitors who register for free tickets will receive tokens to use for food and drink during the event.

The Jewellery Quarter is THE place for making and selling jewellery, so it’s no surprise that couples from all over the Midlands, and across the UK come here to buy their wedding rings.

There is a huge range of choice, options for all budgets and tastes, plus craftspeople who can create something unique or bespoke, including refashioning existing family jewellery.
It’s also a great place to get the rest of your wedding shopping list sorted, with everything from wedding dresses and groom’s attire to flowers and photographers, all located close together. We even have unique and quirky venues for couples who haven’t yet found the right place to tie the knot or host their reception.

The marquee will be decked out in wedding finery, hosting 20 local suppliers with everything from flowers and invites to photos and dresses, all under one roof.

The free tokens will entitle shoppers to a drink from the pop-up bar and a tasty street food treat. But the fun continues around the Jewellery Quarter with shops throughout the area offering special one-day-only prices on their wedding rings and other jewellery. These unique discounts are not to be missed!

Tickets are completely free, but should be booked via Eventbrite for access to free food and drink offer: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/815633601057

Luke Crane, CEO of Jewellery Quarter Business Improvement District said: “I’m so pleased that our funding application to bring back the Jewellery Quarter Wedding Fair was successful, we are able to host this fabulous event for couples and support all our local businesses thanks to a Shared Prosperity Fund grant from Birmingham City Council, the UK Government (Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities) and the West Midlands Combined Authority, alongside our own contribution.

Last time in 2022 this event saw over 1,000 people flock to the Jewellery Quarter to show for their weddings, and we can’t wait to welcome the crowds again.”

The last Jewellery Quarter Wedding Fair created a huge buzz throughout the Quarter with couples shopping for wedding rings and other jewellery. And the retailers are gearing up for this year with even more discounts and special offers.

Monika Jockute, Store Manager at Sonny’s Jewellers said: “Helping a couple find the perfect piece that will help to create a treasured moment in their life is what this is all about, and there’s no better place to find that than the Jewellery Quarter.

It’s possible to plan every aspect of your wedding here, from wedding rings, bridal jewellery, florists, and wedding favours to cakes and even venues.

We love being part of the event and getting the chance to showcase the amazing variety of products and services available in this vibrant and historic area.”
