London’s Craft Week – Masters in the Art of Vitreous Enamelling

Celebrating outstanding British and international creativity, this year’s London Craft Week brings together a host of makers, designers and brands as they showcase their exceptional craftsmanship; and British brand, Deakin & Francis, are delighted to be taking part.

As England’s oldest family jeweller, the business has been designing and manufacturing the finest, luxury cufflinks and gentleman’s accessories since 1786.

The breadth and diversity of the range is immense. From eclectic and quirky to classic and sophisticated, the company employs tools, traditions and techniques passed from one generation to the next.

Proud to be masters in the art of vitreous enamel, Deakin & Francis will be holding a series of workshops, led by their specialist craftspeople, during London Craft Week.

A highly skilled process, dating back to the Pharaohs, this rare skill has remained unchanged for over 2000 years. An intricate hand skill, the brand offers a mix of contemporary and traditional patterns in a host of jewel bright shades.

The workshops will take place throughout the day from the 9th – 11th May. These intimate sessions will give

visitors an introduction and demonstration on vitreous enamelling and then allow them the chance to have a go themselves.

Taking place at the Deakin & Francis Flagship Store, Piccadilly Arcade London. Spaces are limited, so please contact to register your interest.
