Obituary – Jason Batchelor

(Regency Jewellers)

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Jason Batchelor of Regency Jewellers.

Jason had been battling with a brain tumour for a long time.

Jason had worked in the Jewellery Quarter for 30 years and was a successful engraver and manager of Regency Jewellers retail shop.

Despite his illness, he continued to be hard working. He was well regarded and respected and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

He was 47 years old and leaves behind wife Sam, daughter Georgia and son Harrison.

Jason was son-in-law of Arthur Stanley of Stanley’s Jewellers, who was one of the most highly respected jewellers in the Jewellery Quarter, and is still missed by all who knew him.

Kind thoughts go to all the family at this very sad time.
