It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ray Bailey owner of Birmingham Stone Cutting Co, Caroline Street, Hockley. Ray died suddenly on Sunday 9th December 2007 aged a young 70.
Ray had been a stone cutter/polisher for over 50 years, very much the No.1 specialist in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. He ran Birmingham Stone Cutting with his wife Pat and daughter Lisa.
For the past 12 months he was Captain of Dartmouth Golf Club, West Bromwich.
Pat, Lisa and Stephen wish to thank everyone for their kind donation of £700 to the Air Ambulance Service.
He will be sadly missed by family, friends and ‘the wangers’.
