St Paul’s Church was packed out on 23rd December for a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols with The Birmingham Bach Choir.
The Lessons were read by: Louise Roper (representing the Family Service); Richard Grimmett (St Martin’s Guild of Bellringers), Inspector Warren Hines (WM Police); Geoff Field (BJA); Marie Haddleton (JQA); Bach Choir representative; Frances Jones (Churchwarden); The Lord Mayor (Cllr Randal Brew OBE) and finally the ninth lesson was read by the Vicar (Rev’d Mary Gilbert).
Everyone had a good sing-along and it was a lovely service, much enjoyed by all.
