Salon Suisse Focusing on Watchmaking

Under the patronage of the Swiss Confederation inspiring Swiss art: “My Watch” photo project

A special highlight of Inhorgenta Munich 2020 is the partner country Switzerland: The confederation is presenting itself with various offerings on the theme of watches – exhibitors, culture, history, and cuisine.

Inhorgenta Munich, the network platform for the jewellery, timepiece, and gemstone industry, will be promoting an international exchange with the Salon Suisse from February 14 to 17, 2020.

From Fortis and Frederique Constant, Guess, Maurice Lacroix, Meister to Victorinox – visitors to Inhorgenta Munich can look forward to strong Swiss exhibitors. The country, known for handcrafted perfection, is traditionally represented with big names at the trade fair.

One important magnet is the Timepiece Hall A1. Salon Suisse, the partner country’s centrepiece, can also be found here.

Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, explains: “We’re delighted to be able to welcome the watchmaking capital of the world as a partner and, in so doing, to promote international exchange within the watch industry and beyond.”

The Swiss Confederation is the patron of the partnership: “For us, Inhorgenta Munich is an ideal opportunity to showcase the quality and versatility of our watch industry to a knowledgeable audience of experts,” says Markus Thür, Swiss Consul General in Munich.

The work of the Swiss Consulate General focuses among other things on maintaining and promoting economic relations. Inhorgenta Munich offers the best platform for that.
