Fairtrade Gold Sales Ambassador Certificate of Accreditation

WB The Creative Jewellery Group has once again been nominated in the Ethical Jewellery Business of the Year category in the UK Jewellery Awards 2018. They are the current holders of the 2017 Ethical Business of the Year award. The category requires nominees to explain the strategies they have in place to address social and environmental impacts, transparency of supply chain and company ethics training for staff.

Managing Director Andrew Morton, said, “We’re really pleased to be nominated in the Ethical Jewellery Business category. This is such an important category, as nominees and winners are leading the way in improvements that are all about business ethics, sustainability and creating a trade fit for the future that we can all be proud of.

I would like to thank Fiona Pluck, Head of Quality Control and Quality Assurance across the group, for her continued drive and commitment to our ethical stance. I’m especially proud this year of our colleagues in our Weston Beamor division who passed Fairtrade Gold Sales Ambassador Certificate of Accreditation last year. We have clear, auditable Codes of Conduct and Ethics and we ensure that all colleagues across each division is fully-trained. We also communicate improvements and successes to ensure that we keep this important issue at the forefront of everything that we do.”
