Despite the wintery conditions, many of the UK Jewellery Industry movers and shakers managed to beat the snow and attend The Birmingham Assay Office Annual Hallmarking Review which was held at The Birmingham School Of Jewellery on Friday 25th January.
Michael Allchin, Chief Executive of The Birmingham Assay Office presented an analysis and interpretation of the up-to-date Hallmarking figures and other relevant statistics and delivered an overview of the UK Jewellery market.
All attendees were greeted with a hot drink upon arrival. The informative presentation aimed to help put company’s performance and future plans into context, and flag up other issues which may affect the UK jewellery industry.
The presentation was followed by an informal buffet lunch. All attendees were given a usb stick with the complete presentation on upon leaving.
