HELP -Sewing Machinist’s Required –

In response to the huge shortages being experienced in the current crisis the Loft 25 Ltd factory in Hockley will be starting a new production line to make and donate protective coveralls for our heroic Medical Staff and other Frontline Workers in Birmingham.

Due to the current social distancing requirements experienced sewing machinists are needed who can use their own sewing machines to make protective coveralls from home.

Training videos can be provided and fabric cutting and components will be dropped to you for as many sets as can be managed in the coming days.

‘In this time of great need something is better than nothing and we will do our best to supply whatever we can for as long as we possibly can.

NOTE: Please only contact us if you are an experienced machinist as full training cannot be provided at this time.

We need as many volunteers as we can get!’

Please email us if you can help:

The Hockley Flyer magazine if entirely funded by the advertising, but we could always do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Our subscribers pay only a bit more then the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
