In its 41st edition on February 14 -17, 2014, Inhorgenta Munich confirmed its importance as the leading international trade show and barometer of trends in affordable luxury.
With almost 30,000 visitors from 80 countries, the show reached the same level as the previous year.
Around one third of the visitors came from abroad. Among the countries most strongly represented were Austria, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Great Britain.
Especially strong growth was registered from Poland, Australia, Spain, India and China. Klaus Dittrich, Chairman & CEO of Messe München International: “After a difficult business year for the industry, we felt a distinct upward trend at Inhorgenta Munich. In particular, we enthused our customers with our experience-oriented concept, the lavish design of the halls, the Inspiration Lab and the high-quality program of seminars.”
The seminar programme was all about the future and it celebrated two successful premieres straightaway with the ‘International Pearl Forum’ – for which market experts travelled to Munich from all over the world – and the ‘Inspiration Lab Symposium’. The Inspiration Lab is an interdisciplinary creative forum for designers, scientists, artists and architects and it will be continued after the trade show.
The show is a good platform for our new communication concept as well as the new home page and the POS placement.”
