The meter situation continues to frustrate everyone, but according to a spokesperson from the JQBID team:
“Replacement works have now actually begun on a number of parking meters on the busiest streets which is great news!
We are in ongoing conversations with the council about continuing works/strategies to improve the situation after that too.
The JQBID will continue to push for a resolution and hope that the ‘individual’ breaking the machines will be arrested soon!”
