Snow Hill Tram Stop re-named St Chad’s

Snow Hill Metro Tram stop (next to Snow Hill Rail Station) is to be re-named St Chad’s Stop because the stop’s name was confusing passengers who were disembarking there to access the rail station, but the tram no longer runs directly into the rail station; it now stops ‘outside’ Snow Hill Rail station for it to connect with the new City Centre extension which runs through Bull Street and on to New Street Rail Station.
