20 Tenby Street North
The restoration of 20 Tenby Street North is just about complete which includes alterations to the building to be reversed to remove some of the additions that were out of character with the building such as the modern side entrance canopy/rear extension and the flat roof which has been replaced by the reintroduction of the pitched roof with turret as shown in the latest construction images.
Additionally, the plans are to create 6 apartments, including two duplexes in the listed build, with ground floor open plan offices and a new build infill block of 3 townhouses and 3 commercial units.
The plot has lain empty since the 1970’s. The commercial units will take precedence on the street, with access into the apartments coming from the listed-build around the corner.
It will come with internal decked courtyard & space for 6 cars (2 per townhouse).
The developers, Lotus Property Partners Ltd who have managed to carry on with the construction work through most of the COVID-19 Pandemic told us, “Yes, works are almost done on the listed building. It’s coming out better than we expected so that’s positive. We’ll be getting a show home up and running soon too.”
