Trend-led Neckwear Takes Centre Stage for Domino at IJL

Domino will use this year’s International Jewellery London (Stand G131) to launch a stunning collection of trend-led neckwear.

The pieces, which include both necklaces and pendants, are the latest additions to the company’s popular ‘Sienna Neckwear’ Collection. The new designs are all in 18ct white gold with diamonds but some pieces also incorporate spectacular coloured stones or – this season’s hottest fashion accessory – pearls.

The Sienna Collection is based on three fashionable themes – ‘Metallic Botanic’, ‘Lustre’ and ‘Personalisation’. The first capitalises upon all things natural: so look out for organic, bird and floral influences.

‘Lustre’ centres round the sleek allure of the sumptuous Tahitian pearls, which are used to great effect in a number of designs; while ‘Personalisation’ comes in the form of a selection of pave-set earring ‘jackets’. These have been designed to be worn solitaire studs and give customers real flexibility.

“Sienna offer retailers tremendous choice. These designs cover everything from show-stopping glamour through to classic good looks. This is a collection which sits firmly at the forefront of current design trends making it a must-have for fashion conscious women everywhere,” says marketing director, Andrew Sollitt.

One of the strengths of the range is that at least a quarter of the pieces are available from stock, fully set with HSi diamonds and in some cases emeralds, rubies, sapphires or pearls. Where pieces are unset, Domino can provide diamonds, coloured stones and pearls and also offers a full setting and finishing service which is also available to retailers wishing to use their own precious stones.

A further key feature of Sienna Neckwear is its articulation. Pieces are beautifully crafted with many of the drop earring designs, having moving joints to create additional sparkle when being worn. The central stone in many of the pendant and necklace designs is also designed for movement. “This is an excellent sales point. It makes the jewellery great to wear and gives the range a truly luxurious feel,” says Sollitt.

The Royal Wedding has popularised the drop earring look and many of the pendants and necklace designs in the new Sienna collection have matching drop designs to capitalise on this interest.

Sienna also offers a comprehensive selection of earring ‘jackets’. These attractive, pave-set diamond designs have a central hole designed to accommodate a pair of solitaire diamond studs (either round or princess cut) which when worn through the jacket create the illusion of one piece of jewellery, thus providing the opportunity for add on sales. There are three looks to choose from – circular, cluster and square – each of which is available in three sizes.

To make The Sienna Collection accessible across a range of price points, many of the neckwear designs are offered with size extensions. Entry level pieces start at an affordable £400 with a number of designs falling well within the £1000 Christmas gift price point.
