24 Carrots will host two markets in 2013 in the beautiful surroundings of St Paul’s Square in the Jewellery Quarter, on 22nd August (which will already have taken place) and 12th December, 4 – 9pm.
“We’ve been a bit quiet since the fantastic Christmas Market held in St. Paul’s Square in December 2012. During this time, we have been thinking carefully on the future of the market. We have also been keeping a keen eye on the Golden Square development, the site where our market was previously located.
Through canvassing with the local community and various stakeholders, we have realised that monthly markets will need to remain on hold. We feel the best way to go forward is special one off markets. The current committee for 24 Carrots will be stepping down at the next AGM. However, 24 Carrots will live on! The JQNF will be taking over the running of the markets.”
