After the success of the first AnchorCert Open Day a further event is planned for 2014 on Wednesday 30th April.
The AnchorCert team were keen to show guests round the excellent facility they have for testing diamonds, coloured gemstones and pearls and there was an equally enthusiastic response from visitors.
The entire AnchorCert team played a part in the day which gave a real boost to morale and reinforced the team’s pride in the unrivalled range of equipment they have at their disposal.
Many visitors, even those from the local Jewellery Quarter, had not visited before and were surprised to see the huge investment The Birmingham Assay Office has made to ensure that the AnchorCert Gemmological Laboratory is fully equipped to deliver a competent and consistent service.
Sophie Whitehouse who championed the event said “people read about our services but it’s only when they come into AnchorCert that they really see what it’s all about. We had a great day and are looking forward to making it bigger and even better in 2014.”
