Obituary – Michael P Brunner – A Diamond

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Michael P Brunner (known as ‘Mike Brunner’). On New Year’s Eve 2013 he passed away after a short illness at Redditch Hospital, aged 78.

He will be missed by all who knew him in the Jewellery Quarter over the last 60 years, where he had spent his entire working life.

Michael produced individual bespoke diamond rings together with all types of jewellery to special orders.

Latterly being self-employed, his work was produced specially for many people, both local and for customers abroad.

He will be missed as a jeweller and as a friend to many in the trade. His son Mark and family have lost an important part of their lives.

His sense of humour was great being a happy, friendly, and patient man to many who will be fondly remembered, but never forgotten – diamonds are forever.
