At 7.30am on Tuesday 16 September this car collapsed outside Maguire Jackson’s office, causing mayhem in the morning rush, as its front wheel broke!
The owner of the car left it for two hours until the police turned up and arranged for it to be taken away.
The Gas Board are currently digging on the opposite corner following a recent gas leak outside Pickwicks sandwich shop, so half the road was already blocked.
The owner of the car had left a note in the window saying ‘wheel broke’!
