Domino Connects Creative Dots

Creative Marketing Team LtoR Naomi Newton-Sherlock, DW and Chantelle Serrell-Cooke

Domino has announced an internal restructure, designed to ensure that the Birmingham-based 3D casting and jewellery manufacturing company stays ahead of the creative curve. Effective immediately, Domino’s marketing team will report directly into Creative Director, Naomi Newton-Sherlock, linking the company’s two already close creative design and communications functions.

Commenting on the change, Managing Director, Andrew Moreton, said: “This is a great opportunity for both teams to increase their already collaborative working practices, for the benefit of both our customers and for the individuals themselves.

The change also acknowledges the success, and required continued focus on growth, that our Sales Director, Andrew Sollitt, continues to drive for the business, both in the UK and across Europe. We believe that this restructure will positively impact our approach to product design, customer service excellence and retail sales and marketing support.”

Creative Director Naomi Newton-Sherlock, added, “We’re a close-knit team at Domino, and especially so with regards to the marketing and design teams. Increasingly we are working with the marketing team to think more about how we translate the stories behind the design, the tools that we can provide and how we help visually demonstrate current trends. This feels like a very natural and positive move and we’re all looking forward to working as a creative team together.”

Marketing Co-ordinator, Chantelle Serrell-Cooke, said, “Both Danny and I are really looking forward to this change, though we’ll miss being part of the Sales team, this is a great opportunity to have an even deeper understanding of the inspiration, design and research process that our designers go through. And in turn, we’ll be able to provide customer insights and feedback. It’s an exciting move and I’m really looking forward to working more closely with Naomi and the design team.”
