Making his much-anticipated return to the show in its milestone 30th year, Fei Liu will be launching his latest fine jewellery collection ‘Buddleia’ at Goldsmiths’ Fair, coinciding with the launch of his new company website.
The website, which will feature an online shop and registered members’ area, will primarily serve as an educational platform to promote the Fei Liu brand.
Visitors will be able to view and purchase fine, silver and bridal collections, along with images and information on a wide range of Fei Liu Bespoke work. Improved navigation and visuals will also be a key feature, with a sleeker, cleaner feel and readily available access to social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Fei Liu fans will be pleased to discover that a newsletter sign-up feature will be available, allowing consumers to keep up to date with the latest news and offers from the internationally acclaimed jewellery designer. Widening the communication and reach of the Fei Liu brand is an ongoing strategy, with a Chinese language option currently in development.
While the Fei Liu brand expands online, shoppers at week two of this year’s Goldsmiths’ Fair will have the opportunity to talk face-to-face with Liu about his work and to exclusively preview his latest collection, ‘Buddleia’.
With morganite and diamonds set in clusters of delicate, 18K white gold butterflies, statement pieces from the Buddleia collection are lavishly feminine and possess a lace-like intricacy. Emphasising the deeply covetable and seductive nature of gemstones, each precious butterfly is irresistibly drawn to the central stone as though to the nectar of the fragrant buddleia flower.
Themes of femininity, nature, and romance which have defined the Fei Liu style are combined with Liu’s personal passion for creating highly sculptural yet effortlessly wearable jewellery. Smaller, wearable pieces give the Buddleia collection a more everyday feel, with single, diamond-set butterflies resting alongside a stud of glittering morganite.
Liu will also be showcasing the latest collections from his Bridal and Sterling Silver ranges throughout Goldsmiths’ Fair, along with his complete portfolio of work in Gold, Silver, and Platinum.
Goldsmiths’ Fair week two runs for Tuesday 2nd – Sunday 7th October at Goldsmiths’ Hall, London.
