Lord Mayor of Birmingham to Launch New Collection

Manufacturers of cufflinks and fine jewellery Deakin & Francis® will launch their latest collection, the MechAnimals™ Collection ahead of Autumn Winter 2014 at Jewellery and Watch Birmingham at Spring Fair in February.

The MechAnimals™ collection was inspired by creamy neutrals and camouflage trends, the Deakin & Francis MechAnimals™ collection features mechanically moving cufflinks and a wide range of animals from the farmyard to the exotic.

Ducks that waddle, piglets that wiggle and rhinos that charge. And for the gentleman farmer we have tractors with moving tyres in red, green, gunmetal grey and brushed satin.

James Deakin Head Designer believes that this collection is sure to get people moving. ‘I have created a range of cufflinks like no other. These designs are so far away from our classic cufflink designs and I’m constantly trying to push the boundaries of what it means to wear cufflinks. They’re so much more than a shirt fastener, they’re a fashion statement and a way to show personality.’

The MechAnimals™ Collection will be launched on Stand T04, Hall 17 on Monday 3rd February at 10.15am by The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham.

The Hockley Flyer magazine is entirely funded by the advertising, but could do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Subscribers pay only a bit more than the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
