Chris Williams and Roy Hands formerly of Hands and Williams are sorry to report the sudden death of Ken Fraser, aged 81, on Monday 8th April 2013.
After suffering breathing difficulties ken was taken to hospital and rushed to intensive care but a suspected heart attack proved too much and he sadly passed away.
Ken was the figure head of Andra jewels, a major manufacturing company that supplied hundreds of retail shops across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
He retired over 20 years ago but never lost his love of the jewellery quarter, he made the 60 mile round trip from his home every two weeks to come into the trade and have a cuppa with us and other friends reminiscing with many stories of the trade and his antics whilst he was working.
A lovely man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He leaves a wife Chris and two children and four grand children.
