One Stop Shop

As part of the Jewellery Quarter Regeneration Project, a business support ‘drop in’ centre will be launched in May.

This will be at the new headquarters of the JQRP at 57 Frederick Street and is an initiative involving Business Link, Birmingham City Council, British Jewellers Association, The Jewellery Quarter Association, City College and the School of Jewellery, plus many others.

Its aim will be to maximise the potential of available business support to local firms by providing an ‘honest broker’ service, which, as appropriate, will help with form filling and make connections with the estimated 30+ agencies that can provide different kinds of support.

Watch this space – next month will see the second Newsletter from the Jewellery Quarter Regeneration Project!

The Hockley Flyer magazine is entirely funded by the advertising, but could do with a little bit more funding. The advertising not only pays for the design/printing, but also postage, delivery, all the associated paperwork/accounts, and research for the Heritage section. Subscribers pay only a bit more than the postage/mailing costs, and the magazines are free - no cover price.
