Perry Beeches 11- Easter Cake Morning

On 22nd March 2013 Perry Beeches II school held an Easter Coffee Cake morning.

The event was intended to introduce the school to the businesses in the Quarter and also to ‘sell’ cakes and coffee with a view to raising funds towards a ‘Year 12’ trip to New York.

Even in deep snow there was a good turnout and the cakes were delicious and, on such a freezing cold morning, the hot coffee was more than welcome.

Jackie – Head Mistress of the School said: “We would like to thank all those people who braved the heavy fall of snow to attend our Easter cake morning to raise funds for our year 12 trip to New York.

The event was a great example of a community coming together in a common cause and we hope it will be the first of many similar events.
