On ‘Red Nose Day’ some of the staff at Hockley Mint dressed up and wore wigs to raise money for Comic Relief.
Visitors to the showroom were treated to the spectacle of showroom manager Tony Fisher, wearing a black wig which attracted many a suggestion that he looked like one of The Beatles.
Office manager Rosemary Griffith, aka Nicole Kidman, and Sally Wood, aka Samantha Fox, also got into the spirit of the day by wearing at least a wig for the duration of the day. Rose and Sally were even brave enough to venture out to the local cafe for their lunch where they received some of the donations, as well as some very interesting looks and comments.
During the day, donations totalling £110.00 were received.
