Stella Layton, Assay Master and CEO of Assay Office Birmingham, has been named a Business Big Shot in the 2015 Professional Jeweller Hot 100 – an annual list that celebrates the work of 100 leading movers and shakers in the UK jewellery industry.
Layton was previously Global Precious Metals Divisional Director at Cooksongold and moved to the Assay Office Birmingham approximately 18 months ago.
This is not the first accolade of this nature that Stella has received. In 2005, she also received recognition from the wider business community, winning the CBI Women of Manufacturing Award, in the category’s inaugural year.
Layton also received an Honorary Science Doctorate from Cranfield University for her achievements in international business.
