Jewellery quarter based business Beeline Promotional Items has been based in the area for over 20 years, in fact celebrating their 21st Birthday this October.
Beeline supply a full range of promotional items including clothing, and have seen many successful years of trading with companies in all sectors, all over the UK.
It’s been a success story but as with most businesses there have also been struggles to overcome.
When the UK recession hit hard, Beeline were no exception to the effects of slashed budgets and cost cutting exercises.
Traditional customers including Local Authorities, construction clients and those in the education sector had been placing regular orders that just literally stopped coming through, having a noticeable impact on trading figures.
None of this dampened spirits or halted tracks, as Beeline’s team continued to persevere and look to grow their client base. With a strong, loyal team, Beeline have focused on innovation and helping their customers grow their brands with strong and exciting product lines sourced ethically and cost effectively.
Crediting their longevity to loving what they do, and ensuring they are able to source the best products for their customers, when Beeline met another jewellery quarter based business Cre8 Sales Solutions late in 2013, their shared passion for helping others was evident.
Ever looking to improve and innovate, Beeline recognised that their large database of over 2000 contacts needed to be taken care of in this competitive market place; Managing Director Peter Welch said “We knew how important it was to keep in touch with our existing and former clients, but we struggled to regularly fit this work into our busy schedule.”
With over 20 years experience of sales & marketing, Cre8 took on the job of cleaning the database so that Beeline could then communicate with the right people and make the most of 20 years of contacts. Beeline and Cre8’s partnership has found new opportunities and new contacts in their database every day, providing Beeline with a strong sales pipeline of many new sales, and relationships to develop.
